National Account Manager – GTA

Job Summary

The client is a dynamic and agile generic pharmaceutical company dedicated to providing high-quality products and services. They are excited to announce an opening for a National Accounts Manager position. This role involves developing relationships within National Key accounts and buying groups.

Job Specifications

Maintain and strengthen our Vendor Partner relationship with designated key national/regional customers.

– Understand customer strategies and build strong relationships to maximize opportunities and create customer and consumer value.

– Develop and implement strategic business plans to meet or exceed annual budgeted growth objectives.

– Analyze data, develop insights, and execute business plans to deliver growth objectives.

– Identify and help implement go-to-market strategies for new products.

– Lead the development of customer-specific sales strategies.

– Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts on a period, quarterly, and annual basis.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales Reconciliation, and Finance to ensure effective execution.

– Attend industry conferences and manage network contacts.

– Oversee the provincial formulary submission process for new and existing products.

– Ensure all aspects of provincial submissions and product pricing are complete and submitted timely.

– Promote an environment that fosters collaboration and cooperation within the company.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from accredited Colleges and Universities.

– Minimum five years of Pharmaceutical or Health & Wellness sales experience.

– Strong customer service, interpersonal, presentation, written, communication, and organizational skills.

– Strong follow-through, attention to detail, negotiation skills, and resourcefulness in resolving issues.

– Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

– Comfort with financial modelling.

– Ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt to change, and work under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment.

– Strong presence with a solid work ethic.

– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach.
